Impressive Floors Huron · Engineered White Oak
Premium white oak. Eight inches wide.
Misty Morning is engineered white oak, a full 8" wide and 3/4" thick, wire brushed and finished with Impressive’s Diamond HD coating. Made in Canada, and one of the few floors that will float, staple, nail or glue — so the subfloor doesn’t dictate the floor.

Eight inches, and still flat
A board this wide in solid wood would cup and gap through the seasons. The engineered core is what makes the width practical — and at 8" a room shows far fewer seams and reads distinctly more open.
Four ways to install it
Float, staple, nail or glue. Most engineered floors permit one or two methods; this one leaves the decision to the subfloor, which matters over concrete or radiant heat where nailing isn’t an option.
Made in Canada
Milled domestically in white oak, wire brushed, with 4-sided micro-bevelled edges. The Diamond HD finish is the wear surface doing the daily work. Backed 30 years residential, 5 years light commercial.
Worth knowing: This is real wood, so it isn’t waterproof — standing water will damage it, and it’s the wrong choice for a bathroom or laundry. It wants 35–55% relative humidity year round; through an Ontario winter that usually means running a humidifier. Direct sun will shift the colour over time. Ask us what suits your subfloor →
